Cancellation Policy
At Juniper Medspa, appointment times are reserved exclusively for each patient and often require dedicated clinical preparation, staffing, treatment room allocation, and scheduling blocks that cannot be filled on short notice. To protect appointment availability for all patients and to support the time reserved for your care, the following policy applies to all scheduled appointments, consultations, procedures, treatments, and follow-up visits unless Juniper Medspa states otherwise in writing.
By scheduling an appointment with Juniper Medspa, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation, Rescheduling, No-Show, and Late Arrival Policy.
Notice Requirement
We require at least 24 hours’ advance notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice must be received by Juniper Medspa at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be treated as a late cancellation.
Late Cancellation Fee
If you cancel or reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, Juniper Medspa reserves the right to charge a $100 late cancellation fee.
No-Show Fee
If you fail to appear for a scheduled appointment and do not provide the required notice, Juniper Medspa reserves the right to charge a $100 no-show fee.
Late Arrivals
Patients who arrive late may, at Juniper Medspa’s sole discretion, have their appointment shortened, modified, or rescheduled if necessary to protect patient safety, treatment quality, provider availability, or the schedule for other patients. If a late arrival results in the appointment being unable to be performed or completed as scheduled, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show and the $100 fee may apply.
Card on File / Payment Authorization
By scheduling an appointment, you authorize Juniper Medspa to keep a valid payment method on file where permitted and to charge the applicable $100 late cancellation or no-show fee to that payment method if this policy is triggered. If the payment method on file is declined or unavailable, you remain responsible for prompt payment of the fee.
Nature of the Fee
This fee is intended to compensate Juniper Medspa, in part, for the business loss, provider time, staffing costs, and scheduling impact associated with late cancellations and missed appointments. It is not a charge for medical treatment or other billable clinical services, and it will not be submitted to insurance or any governmental payer as a covered medical service.
Exceptions
Juniper Medspa may, in its sole and reasonable discretion, waive the fee in limited circumstances, including verified emergencies, sudden illness, severe weather, unsafe travel conditions, or other extraordinary circumstances. Any waiver on one occasion does not waive Juniper Medspa’s right to enforce this policy in the future.
Repeated Missed Appointments
Patients with repeated late cancellations, no-shows, or scheduling noncompliance may be required to prepay for future appointments, maintain a valid card on file, place a nonrefundable booking deposit where permitted, or may have future online or advance scheduling privileges limited or discontinued.
Deposits and Other Booking Terms
If a particular service, package, promotion, membership, event, or reserved treatment block is subject to a separate deposit, reservation, or booking policy, those additional terms may also apply. In the event of a conflict, Juniper Medspa may apply the more specific service-based booking terms to that appointment to the extent permitted by law.
Policy Acknowledgment
By booking, holding, or attending an appointment with Juniper Medspa, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this policy and authorize Juniper Medspa to enforce it.
